New Home for Podcasts

  • Jan. 20th, 2008 at 12:21 PM

Hi Everybody,

I'm making some changes to how you receive audio. I'll continue to blog the episodes here, at least for a while until I can get my act together. Here's what I've done about my act so far:

I have uploaded all merrillsblog podcasts to archive.org They were in various places. By using spinxpress I have them listed on ourmedia.org ourmedia creates a feed for my audio. I will point the feedburner feed there. Remember the feedburner feed is http://feeds.feedburner.com/merrill. The podcasts are out of order, so you may get "new" podcasts that you have already listened to. This cannot be helped.

In addition, you can visit ourmedia to look at an alphabetical listing of my podcasts. Here's the link to my page: Merrill's Published Audio You can also search archive.org or ourmedia.org for me. On ourmedia.org use "merrill" and on archive.org use "merrillsblog". Not all of merrillsblog is in ourmedia.org because I manually loaded early episodes to archive.org.

I have some work to fill out all my producer informaton on ourmedia.org but everything in time.

On Vox: How to Email A Post to LiveJournal

  • Oct. 17th, 2007 at 7:48 PM

I describe how easy it is to email a post from anywhere--I use my PDA--to LiveJournal. Vox is easier, but the mobile program is linked to one account. Emailing is more flexible.

Reposting from merrill.vox.com Vox doesn't work as a feed for podcasts so I'm reviving this blog. For intervening posts, go there. I'll switch the feedburner feed to point here. Reading PDF Files

  2. I also rant about print snobs.
  3. I also play Passing Clouds by Josh Winiberg from
  4. The point of the podcast though is a review of Mur Lafferty'sbooks HeavenAdventures in the After Life Seasons 1 Heaven and Season 2 Hell. Spoiler warning!

Another Star Runner chapter

  • Mar. 6th, 2007 at 6:14 PM

This one's definitely not family or work safe. I have a fairly long intro where I talk about writing before reading the chapter. You can probably listen to the scene at the store. Then there's the retaurant and then, well, then. Here you go!

Star Runner Chapter 14
